FOREMAN - MACHINING DUTIES:

This role is suited to a Machinist looking for a new leadership opportunity. 

  • Prioritise and coordinate machining tasks for the team

  • Delegate individual responsibilities and projects 

  • Manage and report on project status, budgets and quality standards 

  • Communicate resourcing needs to management 

  • Time management skills

  • Ensure a safe work culture

  • Mentoring and empowering a great team

  • Passion for Australian built agricultural products

  • Process driven role with accuracy to detail extremely important

All work to be produced to the Davimac standard.

Desirable: Experience in design

SKILLS:

  • Strong team focus

  • Pays close attention to detail

  • Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Effective time management and works efficiently.

  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
